Support Partners

Andor has worked with several 3rd party imaging software companies to include support for the Andor range of cameras. These companies include:

• Molecular Devices (Universal Imaging) – MetaMorph, Metafluor and Metavue software packages for microscopy, including multi-dimensional live cell microscopy.
• μManager - μManager is an Open Source software package for imaging and control of automated microscopes on multiple platforms. Together with ImageJ, a popular image processing package, μManager provides a comprehensive imaging solution. N.B. To operate Andor cameras within μManager, the Andor Software Development Kit (SDK) must be installed.

• Nikon - NIS-Elements software platform for microscopy, providing tight control over the Nikon microscope, camera and peripherals.

• Leica – Leica Application Suite software platform for range of microscopy solutions.

• Indec Imaging – Imaging Workbench software for multi-channel dynamic fluorescence image acquisition and analysis.
• Scanalytics (BD) - IP Lab software platform for image acquisition, processing, measurement, and analysis.
• Diffraction Limited (astronomy) - MaximDL provides complete integration of all observatory functions in a single package, to directly control CCD camera, filter wheel, autoguider, telescope, and focuser.

Andor also offers drivers for the following popular ‘development environments’:

• National Instruments – LabVIEW development environment for creating flexible and scalable test, measurement and control applications.
• MathWorks – MatLab high-level technical computing language and interactive environment for algorithm development, data visualization, data analysis, and numeric computation.
• Bruxton - SIDX provides programming interfaces for direct controlling of Andor cameras. SIDX allows interfacing with C, C++, Java, Microsoft Visual Basic, National Instruments LabView and WaveMetrics Igor Pro XOP, with full camera control.
