Andor’s iXonEM Blue back-illuminated EMCCD has single photon detection capability combined with exceptional QE performance in the blue wavelength region. Part of the acclaimed iXonEM+ platform, Blue is designed to extract the absolute best from quantitative EMCCD technology across all critical performance parameters, in addition offering greater than 20% extra QE response to blue photons (compared to the ‘standard’ back-illuminated QE curve).
